ORIGINAL early catalogue for Matisse's early exhibition of his work in Germany - the catalogue lists 265 paintings, drawings and sculpture. It ran from February 15 to March 19, 1930. The show included many major works - several bought by Etta Cone whose collection is now part of the Baltimore Museum of Art. 80pp numerous b/w plates plus line drawings by Matisse, with self-portrait by HM on the front cream paper covers.
