Edited by Anne d'Harnoncout and Kynaston McShine, this exhibition is considered one of the most important retrospectives on Duchamp's work due to the staggering amount of work which went into the organisation of the exhibition and the publication of this item. 346pp, with an extensive chronology and numerous important texts including 'The Large Glass' by Richard Hamilton, 'Duchamp and Language' by David Antin and other texts by Arturo Schwarz, Lucy Lippard, Octavio Paz and others. Plus detailed catalogue of 192 works and important section on book and magazine covers with extensive bibliography. One of the most comprehensive assessments of Duchamp's contributions to the sensibility of our time. This copy also includes the reprint by the museum in 1973 of the New York Times selection of articles on Duchamp during his lifetime. Vg, in paper covers. Edges slightly bumped but overall a good copy.

A second copy is available, minus the ephemera, with ink stain to fore edge. But otherwise a good working copy, for sale at £30
