Edited by Michael Gibbs an important early compilation of sound poetry and other auditive texts which were published to accompany the Text in Sound Festival held at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, April-May 1977, this copy has the original Festival programme of events loosely inserted. Contents include a chronology of sound poetry by Dom Sylvester Houedard, Bernard Heidsieck and Henri Chopin on poesie sonore, interviews with Sten Hanson and Bob Cobbing; Lily Greenham on 'Lingual Music' scores by Bengt Emil Johnson, Chris Cheek, Jeremy Adle, Ake Hodell, Francois Dufrene, Gerhard Ruhm, Sean O' Hugigin, Arrigo Lora-Totino, and others; plus an extensive discography compiled by Michael Gibbs. The programme consists of 3 mimeographed sheets listing the artists and the works to be performed and a double-sided printed announcement card. Those participating included Lily Greenham; Francois Dufrene, Sten Hanson, Maurizio Nannucci, Henri Chopin, Tom Leonard, Franz Mon, Sean O'Huigin, Bernard Heidsieck, Gerard Ruhm, Arrigo Lora-Totino & Sergio Cena and Bob Cobbing.

26pp in white card covers - with some light frading but overall a very good copy. The card has an added note in ink that Bob Cobbing was accompanied in his performance by Paul Burwell and David Toop. An excellent and important archival source on Sound Art.
