This is the famous typographic version of Richard Hamiton of Marcel Duchamp's Green Box, translated by George Herd Hamilton, Contains 120 un-numbered pages of text including illustrations. The original hardcover binding as per the green box cover in good condition. There is no dustjacket; protected in old mylar. The text is clean and unmarked. The first complete English translation of the original 1934 publication. Dedicated "To Bill and Noma Copley" and includes a gallery exhibition announcement card for an exhibition of Duchamp's etchings for the 'Large Glass' at the Alecto Gallery, London (1960?) in the shape of the box.
